And after the sad passing of Gene Wilder we’ve decided to take a look back at the family Blockbuster that was an adaptation of a Roald Dahl classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Willy Wonka’s Limp
It was actually the late great Gene Wilder’s idea to make Willy Wonka’s entrance to the film have a limp. He was so passionate about the limp that he said he would only star in the film if this scene was rewritten. He said from ‘that time on, no one will know if I’m lying or telling the truth’.
