Erin Moran, otherwise known as Joanie Cunningham on the popular TV sitcom Happy Days, sadly and unexpectedly passed away in April 2017.
She was a much loved character on the show and even featured in her own spin-off called Joanie Loves Chachi. Her fans were deeply upset at the news of her death, and took the opportunity to look back and fondly remember her work. However, amongst all of these lovely memories, a few dark details about the actress’ final years have also come to light.
These brand new details make the sad death of a brilliant actress even more tragic.
Prior to becoming a household name on Happy Days, Moran was already a well-known face in Hollywood. She had in fact been a child actress, meaning she was able to gain experience on camera through various film and TV roles. She actually even gained a regular spot on TV show Dakari at the age of just seven, which was also the same year she earned her first movie role.
